New players will be registered with the Unity Lottery only.
The number of players is currently approximately 200.
A breakdown of proceeds from each Lottery is shown below.
Unity Lottery: 50% of the total lottery proceeds are spent on prizes (18.4%) and on running costs and administration (31.6%). 50% of the stake is returned to local lotteries, such as Frome Community Lottery, for distribution to good causes. Winning numbers are randomly generated, and players have a 1 in 63 chance of winning a prize.
Weather Lottery: 63% of the total lottery proceeds are spent on prizes (15%) and on running costs and administration (48%). 37% of the stake is returned to local lotteries, such as Frome Community Lottery, for distribution to good causes.
